When enabling data exchange, click Reset Defaults to use the default lists. Click Save as default to save the current status of the lists for new Vectorworks files. All parameters in the Export Fields list are exported to Lightwright. When you edit the Vectorworks Address field, only enter the starting address. I'm not really sure how to proceed from here, for one thing there's a lot of visible lines and parts of the drawing that i'd originally hidden by overlapping them with other elements in VW. I was hoping i'd be able to import my VW drawings into sketchup, I googled found to do this I needed to export the VW file as a DWG file then import that in Sketchup, which I did and it sort of worked This is the file im trying to export into sketchup and the is the result I get when I import it.

I was hoping to use sketchup for this as it looks very intuitive. I've been using Vectorworks to create 2D birds eye designs for a landscaping company, most of the time this is great but i feel that 3D would really add something special to it, for showing walling, the customers house, that sort of thing. Hey all, so i'm very new to sketchup so please go easy on me.
